About One Thousand Teachers in public primary schools in Edo State are to benefit from the EDOBEST training with technology-based teaching aids as tool for the initiative.
The training which is a collaboration of Edo state universal Basic Education Board, SUBEB and the Universal Basic Education Commission (UBEC) has teachers selected from the eighteen local government areas of Edo State undergoing training in quality assurance, learning outcomes and teachers professional development.

The Edo Basic Education Sector Transformation,EDOBEST is an initiative of Governor Obaseki- led administration and has significantly improved the class room experience using digital devices and aids in teaching.
The chairman of Edo state universal Basic Education board, Ozavize Salami says the training will give teachers equal opportunity and ensure that the methodology used across public primary schools in the state are uniform.
