The Trial Judge Justice Binta Murtala-Nyako in his ruling dismissed the claims of the defendants that their statements were taken under duress.

Justice Murtala-Nyako while admitting the statements of the defendants in evidence says the prosecution has been able to establish that the statements were taken in strict compliance with police guidelines.

The court thereafter adjourned to thirteenth and twenty-second of October for continuation of trial.
