Burnt Catholic seminarian, Na’aman Danlami

Suspected terrorists invaded St. Raphael Catholic Church Parish in Fadan Kamantan, in Zango Kataf Local Government Area of Kaduna State and burned the parish house leaving a seminarian, Na’aman Danlami, dead.

A resident of the community who pleaded anonymity told ait.live that some priests narrowly escaped death during the incident.

He added that Danlami was caught in the inferno. His remains have been deposited in the mortuary.
The parish is under the Kafanchan Diocese in the southern part of the state.

Confirming the incident in a press release, the Senator representing Kaduna South, Sunday Katung, condemned the attack.

He appealed to security operatives to embark on a one-month operation in southern Kaduna, to fish out the criminal elements in their hidden places.

The lawmaker also prayed for the repose of the soul of the late seminarian.

At the time of filing this report, efforts to get details from the Kaduna State Police Command on the incident were unsuccessful.
