The Presidential candidate of the All Progressives Congress(APC), Bola Ahmed Tinubu has expressed confidence that he will emerge winner of Saturday’s Presidential election.
Tinubu stated this shortly after casting his vote in his polling unit in Alausa area of Lagos.
The former Governor of Lagos arrived the polling unit at exactly 10:20 am accompanied by his wife Oluremi.
They were met by a group of journalists from local and international media already waiting at the polling unit.
It took Tinubu about 20 minutes to cast his vote with his wife by his side.
Addressing, journalists, Tinubu said he has no iota of doubt that he will win the election.
On the current economic crisis in Nigeria, Tinubu said the downturn is not peculiar to Nigeria and that he will calibrate the economy when he is sworn in as President.

Earlier, some officials of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission EFCC stormed the polling unit.
They paced around without saying anything or interfering with the voting process and later walked away.
Tinubu comes into this election riding high as a national leader of the All Progressives Congress Congress(APC). But he faces stiff opposition from former Vice President and candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party(PDP), Atiku Abubakar and the Presidential candidate of Labour Party(LP), Peter Obi.
Among the three of them and fifteen other candidates, they have approximately 87million votes to share.
