President Bola Tinubu has described his administration as bold and reform-driven, insisting that recent economic measures, though difficult, are necessary for long-term stability and national growth.

The position was presented at a townhall engagement in Kaduna.

The townhall, organised by the PBAT Door-to-Door Movement, provided a platform for stakeholders to assess governance and reform policies under the Tinubu administration.

The event, themed “Critical Appraisal of Governance and Reforms Under President Bola Ahmed Tinubu and the 2027 Question,” focused on economic reforms, infrastructure, security, education, youth empowerment and governance sustainability.

Representing President Tinubu, Special Adviser on Media and Public Communication, Sunday Dare, described the administration as reform-driven, saying Nigeria is gradually moving from economic reforms to recovery.

He maintained that policies such as subsidy removal and economic restructuring are painful but necessary steps toward long-term national development.

Kaduna State Government also expressed similar views on the removal of fuel subsidy.

Government officials say the reforms are gradually yielding results, although many Nigerians are still adjusting to the economic realities as expectations remain high for improved living conditions.
