The Presidential candidate of the All Progressives Congress, APC, Bola Tinubu, has promised to resuscitate the Ajaokuta Steel company, create new jobs and unite Nigerians if elected.
Tinubu who said this in the Kogi State capital Lokoja during his campaign rally on Wednesday also hailed the Supreme Court court verdict which refrains the Central Bank of Nigeria from stopping the old naira notes from being recognized as legal tender.
The Confluence Stadium venue of the rally was filled to capacity with a large crowd of party supporters.
Tinubu’ told the mammoth crowd to vote overwhelmingly for him and other candidates of the APC at all levels.

It was at a town hall meeting with traditional rulers and other key players that Tinubu promised to resuscitate the Ajaokuta Steel Company and create jobs for the youths.
On the verdict of the Supreme Court for the old naira notes to remain as legal tender after the initial February 10 deadline, Tinubu described the court ruling as renewal of hope for Nigerians
The rally caused congested human and vehicular traffic especially at the end of the gathering as the large number of people present struggled to make their way out of the venue
