President Bola Tinubu officially resumed work at the presidential villa in Abuja on Monday after the Abu Dhabi summit.

His return comes after a week-long participation in the 2025 Abu Dhabi Sustainability Week, which took place in the United Arab Emirates (UAE).

The president’s return was also announced in a post on X (formerly Twitter) by his Special Adviser on Information and Strategy, Bayo Onanuga, on Monday.

At the villa, ait.live observed that President Tinubu received guests including the Chairman of the Federal Inland Revenue Service, Zach Adedeji, the Governor of Kogi State, Usman Ododo, and a member of the House of Representatives, James Faleke.

Last week, President Tinubu attended the Abu Dhabi Sustainability Week (ADSW) in the United Arab Emirates, following an invitation from UAE President Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan.

The summit, that was held from January 12 to 18, served as a platform for global leaders to discuss sustainable development and energy transition.

During his address on January 15, themed “From Climate Imperatives into Economic Prosperity: Bridging Africa with the Global Energy Future,” President Tinubu reaffirmed Nigeria’s commitment to achieving net-zero emissions by 2060.
