Tinubu UK VISIT: Akwa Ibom Gov Applauds Bilateral Agreements

Akwa Ibom State Governor, Umo Eno, has commended the outcome of President Bola Tinubu’s recent state visit to the United Kingdom, describing it as a major boost for economic growth and sub-national development.

Speaking at the end of the two-day visit to United Kingdom, Governor Eno described the bilateral engagements as timely, historic, and result-oriented.

The Governor who was part of the delegation, says the agreements reached hold strong potential to expand trade, enhance investment flows, and stimulate economic activities across Nigeria.

The Governor also expressed confidence in the ongoing economic reforms by the Tinubu administration, noting that they are crucial to Nigeria’s long-term stability and growth.

He maintained that the benefits of these reforms would soon be felt across key sectors of the economy.

Positioning Akwa Ibom as a key player in Nigeria’s economic future, Governor Eno highlighted priority projects such as the Ibom Deep Sea Port and ongoing power sector reforms as major investment destinations.

He emphasized that his administration is creating an enabling environment through infrastructure development and investor-friendly policies.

On the sidelines of the visit, the Governor held high-level meetings with investors and Nigeria’s Minister of State for Petroleum Resources, Gas, Ekperikpe Ekpo, to deepen energy collaboration and attract strategic investments.
