President Bola Tinubu has forwarded the nomination of Mainasara Ilo for confirmation as Executive Secretary and Chief Executive Officer of the Nigerian Anti-Doping Centre (NADC).
The request, sent pursuant to Section 15 of the Nigerian Anti-Doping Act 2025, proposes a 4-year initial term for Ilo.
In the letter to the Senate, President Tinubu urged lawmakers to consider and confirm the nomination in the usual expeditious manner.
The nomination has been referred to the Senate Committees on Sports and Narcotics to jointly screen the nominee and report back to the Senate as soon as practicable.
