Akwa Ibom

Akwa Ibom Governor, Udom Emmanuel says he will stop at nothing to create jobs and wealth for the people of the state through the establishment of more industries.

Emmanuel stated this at the inauguration of a tissue paper factory with products made from bamboo sticks at the Dakkada Industrial Estate in Itu Local Government Area.

From a state which was civil service driven and barely had any notable industry, Governor Emmanuel has begun a major industrial revolution with 18 industries springing up rapidly across the state. The latest being the tissue paper factory.

Commissioner for Trade and Investment, Prince Akpabio lauded the Governor and said more is coming.
