Raypower Fm was established by the late media icon and marine engineer High Chief Raymond Anthony Dokpesi; a visioneer who thought it right to pioneer private broadcasting in Nigeria; following the deregulation of the broadcast industry in 1993.
Yes, it’s been thirty two hearty years of professional broadcasting setting the pace for other broadcast stations; with laurels from industry observers as well as private individuals over the years.
Raypower began commercial broadcasting on Thursday September 1st 1994 in the Alagbado area of Lagos; thrilling its listeners to quality news and current affairs, sports, entertainment and lots more.
