The Kaduna State Government has confirmed the killing of a notorious bandit, Isiya Danwasa, in the Igabi Local Government Area, by troops of Operation Forest Sanity.
This was contained in a statement signed by the Kaduna State Commissioner for Internal Security and Home Affairs, Samuel Aruwan.
Aruwan said Danwasa was responsible for several killings, kidnappings, and cattle rustling operations across the state.

He added that Danwasa met his end during strategic operations in Sabon Birni, in the Igabi Local Government Area.
Aruwan said the Kaduna State Governor Nasir El-Rufai, has praised the troops for their diligent intelligence work and precise execution, which led to the demise of Danwasa and his associates.
He said the Governor further appealed to the people to continue to provide the security forces with relevant information for the betterment of all.
