The Special Military Task Force, Operation Safe Haven (OPSH) in Plateau State has promised to decisively tackle crime and criminality in its areas of operation.
The assurance was given by the Commander of the special force General Abdulsalam Abubakar while handing over 130 recovered weapons to the National Centre for the Control of Small Arms and Light Weapons in Jos.
The commander who thanked residents of the State for their support and cooperation in achieving the feat, noted that troops of the Special Taskforce will continue to be fair to all.

Receiving the illegal weapons, Maj.-Gen. Hamza Bature, the North-Central Coordinator of the National Centre control for small arms and light weapons commended the efforts of STF in tackling insecurity in the State.
He called on the public to support the military and other security agencies through information sharing and intelligence gathering to end all forms of insecurity on the Plateau and Nigeria at large.
