The National Chairman, Trade Union of Nigeria Political Commission, Martin Egbanubi says Nigerians are groaning and ‘can no longer breathe’ as a result of wrongly implemented policies of the ruling All Progressives Congress in the country.
Egbanubi who disclosed this in an interview with ait.live in Ilorin the Kwara State capital maintained that poverty is one of the indices of the rising insecurity ravaging the nation and that the only way the people can breathe is for the current administration to invest in people-oriented economic policies and build effective security structures to bring succor in this crucial period of fuel subsidy removal.

In their reaction Chairman of the Labour Party (LP) in Kwara State, Ajibade Adekunle and the Deputy National Secretary of the Party, Kehinde Rotimi said they are set to wrestle power from the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC) in the State come 2027 with a view to bringing succor to residents of the state especially by huge investments in infrastructural projects across the state, assuring that the party’s leadership has conducted a thorough reconciliation amongst its party structures across the wards and local government levels
The standpoint of the labour party in the state is that poverty is one of the indices leading to the rising insecurity across the country which should be fought by the current administration.
