Madagali and Michika Communities in Northern Adamawa State that have faced several Boko Haram attacks have been reconnected to the National Grid after six years absence.
They were cut off from the National Grid following Boko Haram attack in 2014, subjecting the people to a total blackout for over six years.
Governor Ahmadu Fintiri was in Madagali on Wednesday to commission a rehabilitated power sub-station, which gulped two hundred and eighty three million Naira. The functuonal sub-station providef opportunity for the communities to access the grid.

After the commissioning, the governor flagged off the construction of a 5.1 kilometer road in Michika and a 6.6-kilometer road in Gulak in Madagali Local Government Area.
