Nigeria U-20 Women’s National team the Falconets advanced to the semifinals of the U-20 WAFU B women championship on Wednesday following their 6-0 thrashing of Togo in the second group game played at the Baba yara stadium in Kumasi Ghana.
A brace from Amina Bello and Flourish Sabastine and single goals by Esther Onyenezide, Opeyemi Ajakaye ensured the Christopher Danjuma led team secure their spot in the Semi-finals with one game to spare.
The win puts Nigeria firmly at the top of Group B with six points and a thirteen-goal difference.
The competition will see Chris Danjuma’s side take on Burkina Faso in their final group game on Sunday.
