U-20 Women’s World Cup :Falconets In Group Of Death To Battle Germany, Others

Nigeria’s U-20 Women’s National Team, the Falconets, have been drawn in Group of Death ahead of the FIFA U-20 Women’s World Cup in Colombia.

The draw held in Bogota on Wednesday placed Falconets in Group D alongside Germany, the Korea Republic, and Venezuela.

Their World Cup battle will start with a clash against the Korean Republic. They will then face Germany and Venezuela to complete their group-stage matches.

The expanded 24-team tournament will take place from August 31st to September 22nd, 2024, in Colombia.

Here is a breakdown of the groups for the U-20 women’s World cup

Group A: Colombia, Australia, Cameroon, Mexico

Group B: France, Canada, Brazil, Fiji

Group C: Spain, USA, Paraguay, Morocco

Group D: Germany, Venezuela, Nigeria, Korea Republic

Group E: Japan, New Zealand, Ghana, Austria

Group F: Korea DPR, Argentina, Costa Rica, Netherlands.
