There is hope that the ravaging war between United Sates, Israel and Iran will cease as President Donald Trump says the United States and Iran are working toward a deal, citing “major points of agreement” after recent talks, with further discussions expected.

He disclosed that Steve Witkoff and Jared Kushner held discussions with Iranian counterparts with focus on a framework that includes Tehran abandoning nuclear weapons.

Iran however, denied any negotiations took place, dismissing Trump’s claims as misleading.

The remarks come amid escalating tensions, with Trump threatening strikes if Iran fails to reopen the Strait of Hormuz, while Tehran warns of retaliation targeting regional infrastructure.
