The Young Progressive Party, YPP has called on the buhari-led administration to make good use of the security alert by the international community ahead of the 2023 general elections, rather than accusing them of raising false alarm.
The YPP presidential candidate and party leader, Malik Ado-Ibrahim was reacting to the federal govt response to the United States security alert announced through a statement by its embassy last week.

Ado-Ibrahim said a young and selfless president would have used new workable approaches to tackle most security threats instead of recycling same tactics over the years that have failed to secure the lives of Nigerians.
The party advised the Federal Govt. not to see the advise of political parties on security matters as political but should join hands with them to resolve the deepening insecurity disrupting the peace and unity of Nigeria.
