The United Arab Emirates Ambassador to Nigeria, Fahad Obaid AI Taffaq says, there is no official communication placed on the issuance or otherwise of work permits for Nigerians living and working in the United Arab Emirates.
AI Taffaq who made this known when he received the Chairman, Nigerians in Diaspora Commission (NiDCOM), Abike Dabiri Erewa, at the Embassy in Abuja, said just like other people, he read about the ban on social media.
He stressed that the UAE has no restrictions against any nationality, although there may be possibly isolated cases of individuals, whose work visas were not renewed for one reason or the other.
