Under the Defined Benefit Scheme, 210 local government retirees will receive 515 million naira.
Another three-point-one-four-four billion naira has been approved under the Contributory Pension Scheme for 1,129 beneficiaries, comprising 402 state retirees and 727 retirees from local government councils.
The latest disbursement brings total pension-related payments by the Uba Sani administration to 21-point-four-five-five billion naira since May 2023.
The statement noted that the payments have benefited 9,683 retirees and families of deceased public servants.
The government said the intervention forms part of broader public financial management reforms aimed at strengthening fiscal discipline, transparency and accountability in the pension system.
It added that the administration remains committed to progressively clearing outstanding pension liabilities and establishing a more predictable framework for pension payments.
