Akwa Ibom state Governor Udom Emmanuel has joined other christians the world over to mark Good Friday.
Governor Emmanuel was at the United Evangelical Church, Four Towns, Uyo where he charged churches not to forget the essence of Easter.
It was the second time Governor Udom Emmanuel was worshipping in a church outside the Government House Chapel since the outbreak of the COVID-19 pandemic and he lamented how churches have failed in upholding doctrinal teachings.
Pastor of the United Evangelical Church, Four Towns, Uyo Christian Effiong spoke on the significance of the price Christ paid on the cross of Calvary.

The service featured a session of praise led by the choir.
