The Pot 1 for the UEFA Champions League draw next season will not contain Arsenal.

From next season, the competition will take on a new format, with the traditional group stage replaced by a league format.

The Champions League has also been expanded from 32 teams to 36.

The draw will take place on August 29 and will split all qualified teams into four seeding pots.

The UEFA club coefficient is used to determine which team goes in each pot.

From there, each team will be drawn to play two opponents from each of these pots.
