The recently established United Kingdom Visa Application Centre in Enugu, South East Nigeria is now open and fully operational, going by the assessment of Governor Peter Mbah, Tuesday.
The Governor who was at the centre to submit his visa renewal application, gave a pass mark to the process and services at the new facility.
Governor Mbah who described the application process at the Enugu centre as swift and seamless, used the opportunity to again express his appreciation to the UK government for making the visa application process easier for residents of the South East region and neighbouring states.

Speaking to newsmen shortly after going through the visa application process, Governor Peter Mbah urged people within and beyond the South East region of Nigeria to apply for their UK visa at the Enugu centre, taking advantage of the proximity, time and convenience offered by the facility.
air.live reports that the British High Commission in Nigeria had on September 11, 2023, announced the opening of a new visa application submission centre in Enugu beginning from September 13, 2023, and would offer twice-a-week services on Tuesdays and Thursdays.
