The Outgoing Vice-Chancellor of the University of Jos, Plateau State, Prof. Sebastian Maimako, has said that Management has employed the services of the local hunters to protect the students, staff, and their properties in their hostels on campus.
Prof. Maimako disclosed this at the university’s valedictory session to mark the end of his five-year tenure.

He said that insecurity situation in the country was no longer news, hence the institution’s frantic efforts to ensure that all lives and property within the university, are adequately protected.
