As of 8:30 am Wednesday, a rescue operation was yet to continue.
The officials had late last night stopped the operation with a promise to continue by 7 am.
But as it seems now, no team is working on the ground to possibly rescue other trapped victims.

The Nigerian Red Cross, Kano Branch Secretary, Musa Abdullahi, confirmed the death of a staff of the Kano Electricity Distribution Company, KEDCO during the rescue operation.
The KEDCO staff died when he was trying to disconnect the building from the high tension.
So far, one person has been confirmed dead aside from the KEDCO staff, with eight victims rescued.
