The Embattled Speaker of the Plateau State House of Assembly Rt Hon Abok Ayuba on Saturday officially decamped from the ruling All Progressives Congress APC to the Opposition People’s Democratic Party PDP.
Abok, in a statement signed by his Media aid Samuel Kaze, said he has officially tendered his letter of membership withdrawal to the APC On March 18th, while presenting a letter of intent, seeking to return to his earlier party the PDP at the party’s Local Government Secretariat in Angware, Jos East.

The removed speaker who also Confirmed the development to AIT in Jos the state Capital on Saturday via a telephone conversation said his action became necessary in order to save Plateau State from failed leadership of the APC that will lead to a state of total collapse if allowed
Recall, that the Embattled Speaker Abok, was allegedly removed by eight lawmakers out of the Twenty Four on Thursday October 28th in an unusual sitting and since then, Abok had approached the Court seeking to nullify the purported impeachment.
