A CRJ Bombardier aircraft operated by Value Jet Airline on Tuesday afternoon overshot the runway at the Omagwa International Airport in Port Harcourt.
The aircraft with registration number 5N-BXR, according to a statement by the airline, did not suffer any damage, adding that the pilot, Captain Stanley Balami, had reported a slip on the taxi turn after a safe landing.
The slip was attributed to algae on the taxiway.

Passengers were evacuated safely, even though there was a bit of panic, as the aircraft landed.
