Nigeria’s Vice President, Professor Yemi Osibanjo has commissioned the National Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises, MSME shared Clinics for vaible enterprises in Edo State, South-South Nigeria.
The State MSME shared facility which is a furniture cluster located at the premises of the Ministry of Infrastructure in Benin City has the capacity to produce about two hundred and fifty pieces of furniture items daily and will serve as a production point for furniture entrepreneurs.
The project was conceived on June 14, 2018 when Edo State hosted the sixteenth National MSME clinic.
Professor Osibanjo explains how the concept of shared facilities across the country came about and notes that the facility is capable of producing a significant number of objects. He urges entrepreneurs to take advantage of the project to expand their production capacity.

Governor Godwin Obaseki says the furniture cluster places Edo State at an advantage as the state has enough raw materials and skills.
Done with the commissioning, the Vice President and his entourage proceeded to the Edo Tech Park at the Kick Off Campus in Okhuoromi where he holds an interactive session with the first set of graduating students.
He moves to the proposed site for the permanent campus of the Tech Park at Ugbowo where he performs the foundation laying ceremony.
