Nine-Time Champions, Super Falcons Of Nigeria Defeated Debutants, Botswana 2-Nil in their second group match at the Women Africa Cup Of Nations, WAFCON in Rabat, Morocco.
Ifeoma Onimonu, and Christy Ucheibe scored in each halves to Hand coach Randy Waldrum’s side their first win in the tournament.

The Super Falcons now have three points from two matches and are second on the group C log behind leaders South Africa who defeated Burundi 3-1 in their second game of the tournament.
Nigeria will face Burundi on Sunday with the top two teams from each of the three groups advancing to the quarter finals along side the best two third placed teams.
Apart from the tournament’s title, qualification for the FIFA Women’s World Wup is also at stake.
The top four teams will advance while the fifth to sixt teams will join seven others to battle for three spots in the Women’s World Cup finals.
