Super Falcons captain and 2025 Women’s AFCON Most Valuable Player, Rasheedat Ajibade, has joined French powerhouse Paris Saint-Germain Féminine on a two-year deal.

In an official statement, PSG announced: “Paris Saint-Germain is pleased to announce the arrival of the Nigerian footballer, who has committed to the club until June 30, 2027.”

Ajibade joins the Parisians as a free agent following the expiration of her contract with Spanish side Atlético Madrid, where she netted 40 goals in 136 appearances over five seasons.

The former FC Robo Queens standout is coming off a stellar international campaign, having led Nigeria to the 2025 WAFCON title and emerging as the tournament’s Most Valuable Player, with four goals and two assists.

Her arrival marks a significant boost to PSG’s ambitions, as they look to reclaim the French league title and compete strongly in the UEFA Women’s Champions League.

Known for her versatility, Ajibade can operate across the front line—bringing pace, flair, and clinical finishing.
She now reunites with compatriot and WAFCON teammate, Jennifer Echegini, as part of a growing Nigerian presence in top European clubs.
