Bauchi State chapter of the Nigeria Labour Congress, NLC has raised six fresh demands as it issues a one week ultimatum for the administration of Governor Bala Mohammed to respond or risk an industrial action.
NLC State Chairman, Dauda Shauibu, said this shortly after meeting with members of the union at the State Secretariat complex. Two issues among their demands are the payment of Wage Award and 2.5% monthly deduction for the National Housing Fund.
They are therefore calling on the Bauchi State Government to act fast on their demands, before they embark on strike.
