A Senior Advocate of Nigeria (SAN), Professor Wahab Egbewole, has been appointed the Vice Chancellor of the University of Ilorin.
The Pro- Chancellor and Chairman of the University Governing Council, Abidu Yazid made the announcement while briefing journalists at the main campus in Ilorin the state capital.
According to him, the appointment was sequel to the expiration of the tenure of the incumbent Vice Chancellor, Professor Suleiman Abdulkareem on October 15, 2022.
Profossor Egbewole, who hails from Ile-Ife, Osun State, is a professor of Law and Jurisprudence and has been a staff of the University in the last 25 years.
