The West African Examination Council (WAEC) says the Senior Secondary School Examination (WASSCE) may not hold as usual this year in May/June due to the disruption of academic calendar by COVID-19 across the country.
This was WAEC official position as it officially released the results for the private candidates.
Head, Nigeria office (WAEC) Patrick Areghan while speaking on the students’ performance, explained that two thousand one hundred and ninety five candidates, representing thirty point one percent, obtained a minimum of five credits including in Mathematics and English.
