The National Leadership of the Labour Party (LP) debunks having any alliance with the All Progressives Congress APC Delta state Chapter in the forthcoming governorship election.
The Chairman Special Duties Committee of Labour Party Presidential Campaign Mandela Emeka who made this disclosure why addressing Journalists in Asaba stated that LP and the entire Obidient Movement cannot partner with APC following the gross under-performance of the party in the last eight years and called on their members to tender protest votes against candidates of the APC in the March 11 election.
Mandela used the opportunity to commend members of the LP and Obidient Movement for not embarking on protest over the outcome of the Presidential and National Assembly elections stressing that the rule of law must prevail.

On his part, a member of the European Union Frontliner for Peter Obi Ikenna Azumchine and Mmadụabụchi Chekwubechukwu Coordinator South East Support Group Peter Obi for good governance said nothing can bring about synergy between Labour Party and APC in the March 11 election.
The members were further advised to be wary of those parading themselves as members of the Labour family to hoodwink others thereby making a mockery of the party’s agenda of entrenching a new Nigeria anchored on good governance, patriotism and equity.
