Science and Technology Equipment-driven Education plays a fundamental role in wealth creation and improvement of the quality of life.
This was one of the submissions of stakeholders at a one-day meeting on Science and Technology Education, held in Minna, the Niger State Capital.
The Guest Speaker, Professor Baba Aliyu, noted that science equipment are tools used by professionals or students working on scientific and science-based processes to achieve certain goals.
Professor Aliyu emphasized discovering phenomena, validating known phenomena or simply acquiring knowledge of certain things or acquiring skills for self-development.

He explained that research and development systems for mass production of school laboratory apparatus for Physics, Chemistry, Biology, Introductory Technology and Integrated Science are key in achieving Scientific Education in Nigeria, to achieve the desired goals.
Nigeria according to the stakeholders, have abundant human and natural resources to undertake the production of various educational, teaching and laboratory apparatus, to promote teaching and learning of subjects which include Physics, Chemistry and Biology.
They also believe that given the right atmosphere, Nigeria can reverse engineering methods to build several machines for use in workshops.
