Week-long zero Covid-19 death in Nigeria ends with 2 fatalities

One week after Nigeria recorded no Covid-19 related death, the Nigeria Centre for Disease Control, NCDC has confirmed 2 fatalities that take national death toll to 1,165.

There are also 146 new Covid-19 cases recorded in 11 states across Nigeria in last the 24 hours with total number of confirmed cases now 65,839.

The states with new Covid-19 cases include Lagos-62; FCT-23; Kaduna-21; Ogun and Rivers -12 each; Ondo-5; Oyo and Plateau-3 each; Bauchi and Katsina-2 each; Kano-1.

Meanwhile, 116 Covid-19 patients have been discharged across treatment centres in Nigeria with the total number of successfully treated cases rising to 61,573.
