The Minister of the Federal Capital Territory, Nyesom Wike, has described opposition presidential candidates Atiku Abubakar and Peter Obi as unelectable.
Speaking at a town hall meeting in Rumueme and Apara Kingdom on Monday, Wike also described the ADC vice-presidential candidate Rotimi Amaechi as unelectable, saying his choice as Atiku’s running mate had further weakened the ADC presidential ticket, urging Rivers people to vote President Tinubu in the upcoming General Election
It was the final lap of the FCT Minister’s town hall meetings and political engagements in his home state of Rivers, which commenced last week.
The Minister’s first stop on Monday, was Rumueme Kingdom, where he reminded the people of the choices before them in the coming election. He urged them to be wary of politicians he said do not have their interests at heart.
Next was Apara Kingdom, where the Minister maintained that only President Bola Tinubu deserves the votes of Rivers people because of what he has done for them.
The Minister also urged members of the political family to work together to deliver block votes for the President and other preferred candidates under the Rainbow Coalition Movement.
