The protesters who came out in their numbers crying and blocking major Roads leading in and out of the Council area also took their protest to the palace of their traditional ruler Mishkaham Mwaghavul, paramount ruler of the Mwaghavul people where they accused the Military Special Task Force recently deployed to the area of watching while most attacks are carried out in the villages .

One of the protesters Pankyes Moses, told ait.live that people were unhappy due to the persistent attacks and killings by gunmen in their communities which is the reason they are out to protest and to call on the government to take action after weeks of relative peace.
