Speaker of Nigeria’s House of Representatives Tajudeen Abbas, says Nigeria workers are crucial stakeholders in the national project, congratulating them as they celebrate International Workers’ Day
In a statement by his Special Assistant On Media and Publicity, Musa Krishi, Abbas commended the workers under the auspices of the Nigeria Labour Congress and the Trade Union Congress, for their service, patriotism, and contributions to the growth and development of the country.
The speaker noted that the federal government will continue to prioritise the welfare and rights of workers, assuring that their safety at the workplace will continue to top government priority at all times

While calling on workers to continue working in synergy with the federal government on nation-building, Abbas urged them to remain patriotic and embrace dialogue over issues affecting them.
