Twenty-three players and nine officials of the Crocodiles of Lesotho have arrived in Uyo, the capital city of Akwa Ibom State, ahead of their 2026 FIFA World Cup qualifier with the Super Eagles of Nigeria.
The team handled by Coach Leslie Notsi was received by members of the Akwa Ibom State Football Normalization Committee, at the Victor Attah International Airport, and taken to their team camp, the Serene Ibom Hotel and Resorts.
The teams had their first training session at the practice pitch of the Godswill Akpabio International Stadium.

Nigeria will take on Lesotho on Thursday, November 16 in their first game of the series at the Godswill Akpabio Stadium in Uyo, before travelling to Rwanda for the Zimbabwe clash on November 19.
Other teams in Nigeria’s group in the qualifying series for the expanded World Cup in USA/Canada/Mexico are South Africa, Benin Republic and Rwanda.
