President-elect of the World Medical Association, WMA, Dr. Osahon Enabulele says he will use his position to get governments of African countries especially Nigeria to give priority to health issues and enlighten political leaders that healthy is wealth and should not be treated with levity.

The former President of the Nigerian Medical Association, NMA made this known in Benin city when fielding questions from journalists in Edo State, South-South Nigeria.

Enabulele says if Government gets proper understanding on what the medical practitioners need, the incessant industrial action in the health sector in the country and continent will be nipped in the bud.

WMA President-elect expressed gratitude to everyone for their support and prayers to achieve the new position.
