Nigeria’s vice president Professor Yemi Osibajo has applauded the Independent National Electoral Commission, INEC for the smooth conduct of Saturday’s Presidential and National Assembly elections.
The vice president who voted at 9:57am at Polling Unit 14, Egunrege in Ikenne Local government area described the election as peaceful and transparent.
The city of Abeokuta was generally peaceful on Saturday, with security agencies strategically stationed around the state
Voting activities were also peaceful in other parts of the state.

The former governor of Ogun state, Olusegun Osoba was unable to be accredited by the Bivas machine
The State Commissioner of Police, CP Frank Mba and the INEC, Resident Electoral Commissioner Niyi Ijalaye commended the conduct of the election in the state
The independent observers also gave the election in the state a pass mark.
