Wike/Obaseki

Rivers State Governor, Nyesom Wike has described his Edo State counterpart, Godwin Obaseki ” as an ungrateful man whose DNA is full of nothing but deceit and betrayal.

He said Governor Obaseki has clearly shown that he is a serial betrayer who cannot be trusted.

Reacting to allegations leveled against him by Gov. Obaseki in a newspaper publication, Gov. Wike apologized to former National Chairman of All Progressives Congress (APC), Adam Oshiomhole, saying he and others in PDP should have listened to him when he warned about Obaseki’s penchant for deceit and betrayal.

Gov. Obaseki had in a newspaper advertorial labeled Wike a bully, accusing him of trying to create division in PDP in Edo State after the Rivers State Governor lambasted Obaseki’s deputy, Philip Shuaibu over his alleged threat to PDP.

Wike said he finds it extremely difficult to believe that Obaseki can call him a bully after everything he did for him.

The Rivers State Governor said he has more at stake in PDP than Obaseki who he said had always been an APC mole in the party.

He said Obaseki has by his action exposed not only himself as a traitor but also the identity of his co-conspirators in the smear campaign against Rivers State.
