The Federal Government has released one hundred and twenty five thousand Naira, laptops and starter packs to each of One thousand youths from the three senatorial districts of Cross River State trained by the Nigerian Content Development and Monitoring Board (NCDMB).
The Executive Secretary of the Board, Simbi Wabote, said beneficiaries were trained in phone repairs, hardware, software and entrepreneurship development by the federal government to improve local contents in Nigeria.

On his part,Chairman, Nigeria Content Development and Monitoring Committee in the House of Representatives, Legor Idagbo, urged beneficiaries to strive and become employers of Labour as government targets reduction of unemployment.
The Deputy Governor of Cross River State Ivara Esu announced a three year tax exemption for the 1000 beneficiaries. .
