Zamfara State Governor Bello Mohammed says the recent upsurge of insecurity in the State will soon become a thing of the past as the government has put in place measures to stem the menace.
The governor said this during a statewide broadcast following the recent blood bath carried out by terrorists in Zamfara State against innocent residents of Bukkuyum and Anka communities where 58 persons were killed and four villages raided by the terrorists in Zamfara State, Northwest Nigeria.
Governor Bello Mohammed explained that the recent attack in Bukkuyum and Anka Local Government Areas of the State was as a result of the military operation in Shinkafi, Zurmi, and Birnin Magaji local government areas of the State where security forces dislodged the notorious leader of the terrorists who was terrorizing innocent citizens in those troubled areas who moved to affected LGAs.
