Zamfara State Governor, Bello Mohammed says, he will not rest until bandits are flushed out of the state.
The governor said this while delivering his Eid-El-Kabir statewide broadcast in Gusau, the state capital.
He asked the people to support the government through prayers, to win the war against insecurity.
He said his administration inherited a terrible state of insecurity two years ago when he took over as the governor of the state.
The Governor said that he employed one of the best options, the peace dialogue with the bandits, which has brought relative peace to the state.
Governor Mohammed noted that there are still pockets of recalcitrant bandits existing in the state.

He then appealed to President Muhammadu Buhari to deploy more troops to ensure peace in Zamfara State.
Governor Bello Mohammed congratulated the Muslim faithful for marking the great festival of Eid-el – Kabir, which represented total submission to Allah’s commandments, humanity, and togetherness.
Governor Mohammed called on Muslims to also take advantage of the Islamic festival to strengthen the communal spirit and interpersonal relations, for the good of the society.
