Zamfara State Police Command has repelled terrorist attacks and arrested two of them identified as Sujora Almandawi and Bage Mohammed from different locations in the state.
The command’s Public Relations Officer, Superintendent Mohammed Shehu, disclosed this while briefing journalists in Gusau, the state capital, over the successes recorded by the police.
The Police in Zamfara State have arrested 13 suspects, including terrorist kingpins, in their ongoing efforts to flush out suspected criminals and restore peace in the state.

The Public Relations Officer of the command, Superintendent Mohammed Shehu, who paraded the suspects, on behalf of the Commissioner of Police, CP Kolo Yusuf, said the Police operatives recovered two Ak47 rifles, one Barreta pistol, 35 rounds of live ammunition, hard drugs, a bunch of charms and wrappers among others.
He said the police also arrested suppliers of hard drugs to the terrorists in the forest in Zamfara State, Northwest Nigeria, and they have all confessed to the crimes.
The police said all the suspects will be charged to court when investigations are concluded.
