The Police in Zamfara State says they are on the trail of the hoodlums who abducted the wife of former councillor Babangida Ibrahim, to ensure they rescue her and her eight-month-old son.
The Police Public Relations Officer, Superintendent Mohammed Shehu, confirmed that the police command has deployed some of its operatives to comb the entire area, to fish out the perpetrators of the dastardly act, and to rescue the two victims.

Superintendent Mohammed Shehu said that, investigation has commenced, to ascertain those behind the heinous crime and bring them to book, to serve as a deterrent to others.
The Police urged members of the public to assist with vital information, that would lead to the safe rescue of the nursing mother and her baby.
