No fewer than 9 persons have reportedly lost their lives at the toll gate end of Lagos-Abeokuta Expressway.
The crash occurred when an articulated vehicle belonging to Dangote Group lost its brakes while descending from a hill and rammed into a 14-seater bus whose occupants were said to be on their way to a social function.
About 8 children inside the bus died instantly while a 3 months old baby whose mother also died miraculously survived the accident.
Emergency responders from the State Fire Service raced to the scene and put off the fire from spreading.

Meanwhile,security operatives have restored normacy in the area even as traffic officers battle to control the traffic gridlock caused by the accident
